Pain back after laparoscopy

Good morning.

Hope you are doing well.I had my surgery 5 months back.I was on visanne for the last 1 year as prescribed by my doctor.now I stopped visanne and my period started and it was heavy and very painful. Do you guys face this type of painful periods after laparoscopy? After one laparoscopy how long after pain come back?I am so much hopeless for the last few days.How should I do for this pain?anyone can give some suggestions about diet or anything else.please help me

Hi was your laparoscopy done by a specialist? I have had 4 and pain comes back at different times after each one. If it wasnt done by a specialist they may have missed endo and not removed it all.

Yes,my surgery was done by endo specialist. Bt I had 2 periods gone after laparoscopy. Both are painful.bt I had stage 4 endo and lots of adhesions.dont know what should I do now?feeling so helpless.

My first few periods after surgery are always bad usually gets better after my third one. This is normal for first fee periods to be bad unfortunately. Is it only when you have your periods it bad now?
