Hi all, just really looking for a bit of advice/reassurance!
I had my laparoscopy last week to diagnose endo. Surgeon didn't tell me which stage I had etc. but said they did find and remove some on my lower pelvis. I'm recovering fine, apart from the usual pain (stitches/bruising/breathing tube removal), but that all too familiar pain is still there! After looking at my period tracking app I am at ovulation time and that numbing pain I was getting before the surgery is still happening!
Am I just hoping for too much too soon or is this it for life? I really hoped the removal would help my pain so a little deflated/down that the pain is still happening.
thanks in advance

Just remember that the surgery is in the same place as the endo was and your body doesn't know the difference. You need to give yourself a few weeks even if it was mild. The discharge note should say.
I know it does but I'm guessing my mind likes to think the worst as its the same numbing pain as before and completely different from the surgery/recovery pain.
Sometimes my mind is my own worst enemy when it comes to this and I guess I've lived with the pain for so long I was hoping it would just be gone but know deep down its probably not the case
