I had an exploratory laparoscopy 3 weeks ago. The gynaecologist has said he didn’t think it was endometriosis but would look anyway, they found and removed some from the left side of my pelvis.... I am still hurting in my abdomen and can’t sleep on my side. I went for a walk yesterday (it was very short) and really aches in the evening. Also my belly button hasn’t healed up yet.... Is this all normal? Just wondering how long it takes to fully recover, they made out it would only take a few days to feel better!

I think they were under estimating, it’ll vary, I was told could be weeks when I had lap in Feb.If you’re concerned about infection do contact GP to check. If they’ve removed endo it will have been a bit of a shock for insides, it’s easy to forget when you have tiny little cuts outside 🙂
I had hysterectomy last week, it doesn’t feel like he’s done anything so far as I’m not yet feeling any different 🙄
Great the cuts are improving, it can be disconcerting at times. How is your pain today? Don’t be afraid to contact GP if you are concerned. It’s their job 🙂
