Good questions to ask the consultant

Hi all,

I'm having an mri to see what is on my overy. I had bladder surgery before but without knowing I had endo.

Any suggestions of what to ask the consultant this time around? I'm 32 and have 1 baby. Thinking they will say go away and get pregnant again? Then I won't have any more understanding of how bad my endo is if that makes sense. Thank you

If the gynae is worth their salt they won’t say negative remarks. I had that years ago, hence why I never went back about periods.

There is good consultation advice on the endo UK site.

I made notes and gave them to him to read, no flippant remarks at all.

I was told that superficial endo doesn’t always show on MRI, deep endo shows more.

Did they treat the endo when you had surgery?

Oh great thanks. I'll take a look. Yes I had cells removed from my bladder. It was a urologist? Or that type of surgeon.

Then whoever I saw after didn't understand all of the report due to the language? I dont know. It was a bit disjointed.

So was hoping for a clearer picture about the future this time? I will be more proactive!
