I had my diagnostic lap at the end of March and finally have my follow up tomorrow.
Although nothing was found, I still have daily pain and my pain is starting to get increasingly worse again in my abdomen/hips, back and upper thighs.
I've been keeping a pain log and writing down all of my symptoms but I'm not sure what questions to ask him in order for him to not fob me off and tell me I'm healthy and that I should be fine because nothing was found.
I'm really fed up already of this process and I just want to know what is causing my pain as I believe it to be either Endo, Adeno or some other gynaecological issue but I've always been fobbed off onto other specialists who still can never find an issue - I've had problems since I was 8 with my stomach/uterus/etc but they used to tell me it would go by puberty but it only got worse..
What questions did you ask at your follow ups? What would you ask in my position? I will accept any help at this point just to stop the pain...
Thanks xxxx

I feel for you, I’ve been in pain for about 20 years.
Have you had an mri? Apparently this shows it up more. Also how are your periods? If they are off then it has to be gyny linked. Have you been tested for pcos? If not ask them about testing you , I think it’s just a blood test now.
Have you had children? IMO my asking as I’ve had 4 so I’ve been asking for a hysterectomy but they won’t believe it’s all gyny and keep fobbing my off with my bowel. So I was given a decapeptyl injection on the 8th June to put me into menopause. My consultant said if that got rid of my pain then it must be gyny and he’ll think about surgery. Well it’s been amazing, not only has the pain gone but the bloating too. Every symptom I’ve had went.
It’s now wearing off and I can feel it all coming back, I’m seeing my dr Tuesday so fingers crossed he agrees to a hysterectomy and another injection while I wait.
There are a lot of injections to try most are once a month my was 3monthly.
There’s also the mirena coil, but my body pushed it out. Or going on the pill.
No I've never had an MRI only ultrasounds and then the surgery.
I have to take my pill through constantly as my periods are excruciating and very heavy so my gp advised that I just take them through so I dont bleed (although I still bled for 18 days then later on 24 days despite not taking breaks.)
I'm not sure if they've ever checked for pcos..
My gynae before my surgery asked if i would be willing to start trying for children with my boyfriend if nothing was found but I'm 20 and have only just started my career so I'm not sure I'd be ready for children even if it stopped my pain for 9 months...
Did you have any other symptoms on decapeptyl? I suffer from pretty bad anxiety/mood swings and panic attacks and I've heard that the decapeptyl can cause mood swings to increase?
I'm terrified of the coil as I dont think my body would get on with it as my body has not agreed with most of the pills I've tried as they've either increased my headaches/migraines or made me feel horrible 24/7.
I have anxiety and depression too. It’s not affecting the meds I’m on for that and because I’m on adbacs too I don’t feel much different t. I get hot sweats at night and can be a bit moody also my joints really ache. The headaches at the beginning were horrible but forums cold and flu medicine worked on them
