Hi 😊, I’m writing a lot of posts because I’ve only recently found out about having Endometriosis and have found all the support and shared experiences so helpful. I’m a New Zealander, (currently living in Australia). I find this Uk forum more helpful as there is more members so therefore more activity. Ive been struggling with Endo belly, and if any one had any tips or tricks for relieving this? The pressure and bloat confuses me to whether I am hungry and if I should eat (even hours after having a meal). I’ve heard that having a endo implants removed during a lap if they are located in the tummy can really help with this ? I feel as though my endo is very much in my stomach and bladder. I might trying doing a digestive reset, by having a break from solid foods and having soups and warm lemon water for a few days. It’s hard to know what to do...

I haven’t worked that one out yet. I get pain whether it’s solid or liquid. Hopefully someone can suggest something. I’m having other tests to rule out anything else. I think I’m hoping it’s just endo 😂, haven’t decided on that either🙄

Where are you at with treatment?

Hi I used to suffer with endo belly but now I only get it a couple of days a month. I spoke to an endo consultant specialist and they suggested I do a blood test to see what foods I have an inflammatory reaction to, removing those foods from my diet really helped.

Also there’s a lot of research showing gluten is really bad for pelvic inflammation and bloating so maybe reduce that and see how you feel. (I’ve been gluten free for a 18 months and I think it’s changed my experience with endo for the better).

I also find drinking Hot raw ginger tea or mint tea Helpful. I take peppermint tablets if I’ve eaten too much and that helps.

I guess endo belly is triggered by food and inflammation for me mainly. So this is just my experience, I hope you find what works for you xx

I’ve had endo belly for about 3/4 years now and it’s still here, still not found a cure for this bloat 😂 I’ve learned to just get on with it, it does get me down at times when I want to wear a nice outfit to go out etc but there’s nothing much I can do about it. I’ve tried everything possible, fasting, peppermint teas, changed my diet to gluten free but it’s still here. If you find anything that helps please let me know x
