Pregnant and awaiting second Lap

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing okay.

So I just wanting to know if there is anyone that has experienced this. I’m currently on the waiting list for my second Lap but me and my partner have decided to try for a baby and have my OP after and ask for a hysterectomy as our family would then be complete.

If I do fall pregnant and they give me a date for my OP, what happens? Can they still keep you on the list till you have had the baby?

I haven’t experienced this so I could be wrong, but I would have thought if you got pregnant before your op they would remove you from the list and your doctor would have to re refer you for surgery. If you do get pregnant I would ask the doctor if you had a c section, if they could do a hysterectomy at the same time? Good luck x

They wouldn’t keep u on the list- u have to get re referred after the baby. This is exactly what happened to me by I never received a date til after I had had my baby anyway and waited 1yr for it.

I'm currently pregnant and they take you off the list as I've had no updates you have to inform the g.p your pregnant Also was pregnant in the past and got took of the list that time.please think carefully before having hysterectomy it does not cure endo xalso would like to note that hysterectomy is not offered after c section only sterilisation hysterectomy is a bigger op
