4 Weeks Post Laparoscopy for Endometriosis help!

Hi I had my lap 4 weeks ago. They found Endo on my rectum and left side and right side of my womb. The specialist said that he excised all the Endo. However, 4 weeks later I am still in severe pain. Is this normal? I'm feeling really down as I have been in this pain constant for a year and a half and was expecting some results from surgery. This disease is soul destroying. Im trying to bring up a 3 year old on 0 energy and always in pain.....not to mention the bloody pandemic lol

I hope you're feeling a little better? If not, maybe call the gynae dept of your hospital and ask to speak to your consultant. That reassurance will help you.

I had a lap just over 2 weeks ago and I did the above cause I'm now having a sharp pain in my groin. My consultant can't understand why I'm getting this pain so it's not ideal and can only hope that time will make it better.
