Hi All, I was diagnosed with endo last year via a laparoscopy and suspect it’s returning as the pain is becoming increasingly bad. I generally suffer more from cramps and dull aches but recently the pain has become more of a sharp stabbing pain and it feels like it’s on my left ovary. I’m am booked for a scan next week but the change in pain has really concerned me in case it’s something else in addition to the endo. Has anyone else found the same with different types of pain?

Hi, do you find the pains occur during certain times of your menstrual cycle? It's good you are having a scan as you want to rule out any cysts and endometriomas which can cause such pain especially if it ruptures or twists. Ensure if the pain is very bad, continuous and you have a temperature that this could be the case and you should seek help. Cysts or endo on ovaries can cause sharp pain during ovulation period and menstruation time. Good luck.
