Sharp hip pain…. due to Endo?

Hey guys, I just wanted to ask if anyone else suffer from a new symptom I’ve noticed recently. I’ve been getting sharp stabbing pains in my left hip, feels more like nerve pain than anything else. It never last long but it’s pretty intense when it strikes x

I have pain ache a lot in my my left hip, occasional sharps pangs. Normally around my cycles. I have confirmed endo in my hips.

Probably good to get checked out and talk it through with your doctor. Hope it improves x

That's interesting. I've not come across that before - is it actually in your hip joints?

I’m not 100% sure exactly - had a lap 3 weeks ago and was told had endo a cross pelvis and in hips - Hip pain is associated with endo. Can be transferred pain. Am doubting what I heard now - as in actual hip joint with bone and fluid - doesn’t sound likely but could be near joints/tissue - feel the need for more medical knowledge….

Yes hip pain is a symptom of endo, especially uterosacral ligament endo when the nerve in the ligament is aggravated or impacted with endo. The nerve (pelvic splanchnic nerve) has its roots in the area in the spine where the sciatic nerve arises and often causes referred pain anywhere along the sciatic nerve. The left is most often involved. So if you have deep endo affecting the US ligament that is certainly a possibility.

hi I have constant pain in my lower back and my lower stomach so bad I haven’t gotten out of bed in days I have recently gotten a tens machine as painkillers don’t work for me I don’t have a good day the pain just gets worse and worse every day
