DEPO INJECTION

Hey, I’ve been on the depo injection for 9 months (I started it a few months after my surgery) I’m only starting to have side effects from it - bad acne, bleeding. Has anybody else suffered with side effects from the injection as I’m scared because I am trying to get rid of my bleeding to prevent my endo coming back 😫 thank you in advance x

Not sure if you have it with GP or gynaecologist. Have a chat with them to make sure you it’s still appropriate for you.

Hi Becky, I have been on the depot injection for 18 months now and I still bleed. I'm having periods about 4 times a month and have to use pant liners every day. Saying that, the endometriosis and migraine pain has reduced significantly so I am going to stick with it as nothing else has worked. Jo xx
