Hi ladies, I had surgery 5 weeks ago and the bloating went down from what it initially was but I still can’t wear normal clothes and my stomach looks normal in the morning but as soon as I consume anything it bloats out like crazy... I still feel a ton Of pressure by the lowest incision and by the belly button incision. It’s extremely upsetting and frustrating... I also feel like a pulling/pressure sensation when I urinate. Dr sent me for a urine a Alissa day everything came back fine. Has anyone had a similar experience??? Feel so discouraged.
They removed all endometriosis, Cysts and a Fallopian tube.

Hi I remember when I had my diagnostic lap a couple yrs ago I had the similar pulling feeling. I didn’t have much bloating I was quite lucky but I did have the shoulder pain. I think in my opinion they moved everything around so much that all your inside will just need time to settle and I’m sorry that that is not more comforting. I also remember that for up to a year afterwards I would sometimes get a pain or pulling around my belly button where one of my incisions were. It’s all fine now although I am approaching my second surgery so will be going through most of it again if not worse. I send you lots of luck and try not to rush your recovery you may just make it longer be kind to yourself, Kelly xxx
Hallo, it took me 6 weeks to recover physically from surgery, and then longer to rebuild stamina (and mine was just to remove a cyst). You’ve had major surgery on your insides and it’s bound to be sensitive.
Do you know what you’ve been eating? It might be certain types of food that might trigger your bloating (bread? Cake? Dairy/milk?)
Don't forget, you've had bits snipped out of your abdomen, it won't just go down immediately. I was bloated for nearly 2 months after my excision surgery and it was super painful when I wore my old clothes over it ... I think it was just the body taking its own time to recover...i agree with the other ladies and say 'listen to your body'.
I had the same surgery as you 2 months ago and I still have the same sensation most of the time when I urinate but it's not intense anymore. I had lots of pulling/pressure sensation 2 weeks after my surgery especially when I was sitting down. Turns out I had an infection caused by the surgery. 5-6 days afer I started my medication the sensation went away. I'm still pretty bloated as well, and just like you it's worst when I eat, but apparently it can take a few months to go away.
