I have being having 3 periods(heavy,flow,clots,painful) every month. I am 23 I have being to doctor several times hormones normal and scan normal. Lot of pain radiating to my right ovary. Doctors wont refer me because of my age . Also blood everytime I do a sample

Hi there, I am also 23 years of age and I'm awaiting a laparoscopy, however every doctor I have spoken with is adamant I have Endometriosis, I have experienced all of your symptoms. I have constant pain, inflamation and more severe when ovulating and unbearable periods. I have also have traces of blood in every sample, I really think regardless of your age they should investigate this further. Being 23 years old myself, I know how difficult it is as sometimes you aren't taken seriously but I really think you need to be as persistent as you can. If you really feel like something is not right, chase them and speak to them because you know your body better than anyone else. I had a scan originally because they thought I had kidney stones, and nothing showed up on the scan. Luckily, my doctor managed to rule out a lot of things as I had been having tests for 5-6 years before hand regarding other symptoms that I had never considered were related to having Endometriosis. Regardless of your age, you have every right to know what's happening to your body. As hard as it can be sometimes, stay positive and keep on to them
