HELP!! IN agony keep passing out with pain

Hey . .I been diagnosed with endo and suspect adyemeosis ( think that is how you spell it )

I had a lap 5 weeks ago to burn the inside of my womb and they also sterilized me aswell .

I have been in agony every since . I have been in and out of a and e after being blue lighted in by ambulances each time .

Today I woken up with chest pain aswell as the normal pain . And I keep getting pins and needles in my legs and then passing out . I have taken my painkillers .

I don't know whether to call 111 and go back to hospital or not as they don't seem to be listening to me .

I'm also mum of 5 . Youngest being nearly 2 yr old twins . I've passed out 3 times already today .

Help

I would suggest calling since I do not believe it is normal to pass out from pain like this. If you’re weary, perhaps try calling your GP to see if they have advice. I don’t think the pins and needles in legs then passing out is good. Have you been able to tell them about this and the chest pain?

I understand the whole “hospital not listening” situation.. I have a post about my experience with that. (Turns out it was my gallbladder and I just had it removed.. what an ordeal though.)

I’m so sorry you’re feeling so crappy! Do you have a significant other to help you through this? Or perhaps a friend?

I hope you can get the help you need soon. X

Hi kellybird2,

What you're going through sounds terrible, do you have someone around you who could look after your children if/when you go to hospital?

I'd definitely call 111 if i were you, your situation sounds very serious, if you keep passing out, something is obviously wrong. If you didn't like the hospital you've been last time, ask to be taken to another hospital.

Take care and keep us posted how you get on x

No there isn't anyone apart from my partner and he already had 2 weeks off after my surgury to look after me so I'm kinda stuffed right now . And no its not good I've never felt anything like it . It feels awful .

There isn't another hospital just that one but the doctors don't listen just say take painkillers xxx

I've been in a similar situation, i was in agony and none painkillers helped me, so I kept going to A & E many times, until they started taking me more seriously. They misdiagnosed me, and then confirmed that I had a severe infection, but it was too late and now i have a frozen pelvis. All i can recommend is perseverance, don't give up, stand up for yourself.

Keep us posted x

Yeah I try and stand up for myself but don't seem to get any where with the a&e doctors . They got a physc lady last time . And even she told them that her agony isn't in her head

Go to a GP or your obgyne . Pins and needles is not normal it may sign of a nerve damage or an inflammation.

I haven't got a appointment to see my garne till April next year.

My gp can't do anything else for me .

Wen I was last in a&e I collapsed in front of them and they still sent me home .

I can't take much more of this the pain is so so bad this morning and feel like I'm going to pass out again

in reply to Amorgatory

They told me it was the drugs they gave me which made me pass out but it wasn't as I was already passing out at home

Maybe go to a different gp. Its weird that they cant do anything about the pins and needles and the chest pain. They should atleast increase the dose of pain killer or took ecg at a&e and investigate what is happening. If it has something to do with your medications and you cannot tolerate it you can always phone your obgyne and let her know cause it might be an adverse reaction of your medications. You are a patient and you have the right to complain.

Please please get the hospital to check you thoroughly for a pulmonary embolism which may have been caused by the recent surgery.

I don't want to panic you. I am not a medical professional and this is my personal suggestion of what needs to be ruled out. It might be something else completely but I know from personal experience that medical professionals sometimes do not take the blood clot, pulmonary embolism or DVT issue as seriously as they should!

Have they examined your legs and seriously considered DVT and pulmonary embolism? if there is any doubt then you should be given blood tests, leg scans and chest scan.

It might not be one but your chest pain post lap and your leg symptoms and passing out are serious symptoms that no one should be dismissing.

I hope you find some answers and relief soon

I'm currently sat in hospital waiting for doctors . I only been for 8 hours !!!
