New symptoms - help!

Does anyone get a sharp stabbing / cramping pain around their ovulation? I've noticed it before but put it down to trapped gas - this month it's really bad; kinda like "period" cramping for a few days around then and the sharp stabbing which feels like where my right ovary is (sometimes my left).

Is it something I should make a note of? And then see if there's a pattern then go to my GP? I have endo and had two really good excision laps to remove it over two years ago (different specialists required to attend), as my symptoms have been greatly reduced I've not had to see my specialist or my GP. During both laps they had to unstick my left ovary from my uterus, could this have happened to my right?

Yes this is common with endo. It is far worse than trapped gas however. Have you emailed your doctor about your current issue or not? Definitely make a note of any endo symptoms. That is also possible. But only the specialist can tell you for sure however. You are in my prayers too! Good luck.

I've not had this symptom before so I'll monitor it, thanks.

I will talk to my GP when things outside settle down

Yup! I have this! It’s so painful. My GP said it was ovulating pain and to take painkillers.

I also have a burning sensation after sex that literally feels like my lower abdomen is burning or twisting in. It’s the most excruciating thing ever.

Sorry I can’t help much, but I feel for my husband. It can’t be nice to see your wife in pain.

Let me know how you get on...would love to know more about what’s happening!

It's okay, you've helped, now I know it's not just me.

I don't have the burning pain, I used to have a deep pain during sex but when they excised my endo that went away. Sorry that it's awful for you.

Yeah I'll mention it to my GP when stuff has calmed down!

I have this- before my surgery it was bad and was caused by an endometrioma . I still get it now but it isn’t anywhere near as bad as it was.
