No, I have not because when Lap was preformed my Gynae tidied me up, cysts, adhesions etc. I was put on Provera for 18 months bliss! Did have 2 more Laps staggered a few years apart that was because this time had fibroids, polyps and new Endo. Could you not ask your GP for for a suitable pain killer until you see the new guy? 🤔
I’ve had diagnostic laps which on each occasion have shown endo too severe to treat there and then so have had further extensive surgeries a few months later with an endo specialist and a bowel surgeon.
Despite excision surgery the endo pain has always gradually returned pretty quickly after each op.
You are doing the right thing waiting to see the endo specialist. Hope you get the required treatment.
Has your GP given you any decent pain relief?
It’s a horrible disease, I’m now in pain every day. Had tubes and left ovary removed so won’t ever have my own kids, it’s damaged bowel, bladder, nerves and ligaments.
I hope you manage to get some good pain killers to tide you over until you get treated .
My Lap I had in October 2019 I was told I had endometriosis and they had removed it, to them be taken into hospital a few months ago because I collapsed in pain. I was told that my Lap was just a diagnostic OP and nothing was removed and I also have cystitis on ovaries of which I wasn’t told about and still don’t know anything about them.
I’m sick of been in pain everyday, I don’t feel like me. I feel like a burden to my partner and try to put on a brave face and do things because I feel guilty he is doing everything🥺
