I want to start taking them to help me gain some weight but I don't know if that can be taken as part of the anti-inflammatory diet? Not much appetite for food when i am in pain so these will help too.
I guess it depends on ingredients I’m in same boat .The thing I’ve found helpful is adding an extra small meal before bed but it’s hard for me to stick too.check there’s no added soy.better still I’m sure their will be homemade protein shakes you can make with organic ingredients at home as commercial ones are full of sugar usually which endo is not good for
Yep. Thats's why i am asking really . I was sure they would be loaded up with all sorts of stuff that would clash with the endo diet. So was wondering what worked or what didnt.
Thanks i'll look into in the homemade ones. If i can do that even better!
Check out free soul protein shakes they are balanced for women to help their hormones. The chocolate is great with oat or almond milk. They do a vegan one which is ok but not as nice as the whey. All soy free etc
Hi I have protein shakes everyday. I have endo and have sought advice from a nutritionist. I do have to have a vegan one as we worked out that cows milk (whey protein) causes me inflammation. Wyldson protein powder is a nice vegan blend with cinnamon and turmeric (good for reducing inflammation). Hope you find one that works for you!
