Just wondering if other people experience a huge amount of tiredness? I've never really put it down to my endometriosis, but I've had blood tests previously tests previously and nothing ever shows up.
I'm having problems with bleeding a lot at the moment. I'm not a good sleeper, though admittedly the back pain etc I get from periods makes my sleeping 10 times worse. I just feel wiped out.
I have a call with the gyne tomorrow as they've found chocolate cysts on both my ovaries, so not sure what the outcome will be on that.
I don't want to blame everything on endo, I just don't know what else it could be and wondered if anyone else thinks their endo causes major tiredness? It's starting to get me down a bit 😔

Yes the tiredness and fatigue is all part of it. On top of that , as you have mention, the sleepless nights due to the pain do not help.
Sometimes I go to bed the same time as my 6 year old!
Supplements really do help, i take Berocca vit c AND their vit b ( I think it's called energy or energize) plus iron tablets and oil of evening primrose.
I find caffeine actually makes me feel worse on the days I am tired so I avoid that.
No I haven't. I have a multivitamin that says it proved 100% of the tour iron RDA (amongst other things). I can't say it makes me feel any better though. Do you think I need more than just a multivitamin?
I had to have a higher dosage than that that is in a multi vitamin. At the time i wasn't able to have a fibroid removed due to my anaemia.
There are pros and cons for multi vitamins. An whilst i am an advocate of them, i don't feel that taking more of stuff you dont need benefits you. Majority of the time you are just flushing it down the toilet.
If you consider a stand alone iron supplement look for Ferrous Fumarate. This is less likely to cause constipation or irritate your bowel.
On top of iron and vitamin D and C, magnesium glycenate could also help your body against tiredness and is gentler on the stomach. If you take it in the evening, it could help you sleep. Anaemia can also cause insomnia. A hot water bottle can help reduce the pain.
I’m the same, although doctors don’t seem to like linking endometriosis to exhaustion.
I am tired all the time, doesn’t matter how much sleep I get.
I’ve been signed off work since December but often I’d often feel it was dangerous to drive home after a days work because I felt so exhausted.
I’ve read that it’s because your body uses its energy trying to fight the disease. Unsure how true that is but it would certainly make sense.
I have berocca every day which gives a bit of a lift in the mornings and find a hot bath helps refresh me but obviously you can’t do that whilst working lol.
Like you I’ve had blood tests that never show anything.
There is definitely more research and knowledge required amongst the public and mainly health professionals to help us.
