Does anybody else suffer badly with thrush? Since suffering with endo I have noticed that near enough every month I have thrush and its always leading up to when my period begins. The doctors told me there's not really a link between endo and thrush and they have ruled out things like diabetes etc, but I'm unsure as I've read it on the endo website that frequent thrush can happen if you have endo, so I'm looking for anyone else in a similar position with any advice
Thank you, Sophie xxx

Yes! Ask them for a flucanzole tablet, took one didn’t have thrush for 3 months, had another with the next lot and didn’t get it again for 6 months, had one for the first time in a year just after Christmas, trust me it works xxx
Hi Sophie, I've suffered with severe thrush since I started my periods at 12. It's horrible and I know what you are going through. I've scratched myself red raw with it and had many a sleepless night. I've tried everything such as diet changes, tablets etc. The thing that worked for me is boric acid capsules taken internally. They are used in the US but not in the UK so I bought the boric acid and empty capsules separately and made them up myself. It took me a while to try as I was nervous what the side effects would be but I didn't have any and it actually cleared my thrush. A herbalist recommend this to me as I was at my wits end. Please do your research before trying anything new and I hope you feel better soon. Jo x
Wow! I have recurrent thrush and never twigged it might be related! I’ve another totally random condition that I thought might be causing it.... so thanks!
I get it most months and seems to clear up with my period - then comes back.... I’ve had flucanazole prescribed a couple of times but it just comes back and the over the counter treatments don’t work so I’m at a bit of a loss to be honest. Anyway good luck I hope you find something that works for you
