Does anyone else feel like there in a constant flare lately. I know it’s a stressful time with the virus and the effects that’s had on people. I’m homeschooling like every other parent on here. My son has autism so school is abit different for us. It’s exhausting and I don’t feel like my body is getting the rest it needs to recover from this flare that’s why it’s lasting so long. I’ve also been getting really bad nerve pain down my legs and into my feet. They start to burn and go tingly but also numb it’s a horrible feeling and it hurts to walk on them. Does anyone else experience this? I think it’s my sciatic nerve but I’m not sure, and don’t get me started on my bowel. I’m either constipated for days or have diarrhoea for days. I carnt seem to get my diet right either 🤷♀️. I was meant to be meeting my bowel surgeon this week to discuss my surgery and I’m so disappointed and defeated that that’s not happening. I know there’s worse things going on right now but I’m fed up of the pain. I feel forgotten about. Sorry for rambling it just feels good to get it all out.
Thanks for reading 💛

Must be particularly tough, someone with autism can take a lot more out of you in having to think more. The other person in my house was diagnosed last year.
Not sure how old your son is, but if you could lie on the bed, put pillows under your knee and read him a story, this may help just stretch the lower back and relieve the nerve pain a little. Could be muscle tension and trapped the nerve.
Like wise with bowels, taking Laxido once or twice a day.
Can’t you speak to the consultant over the phone, many are doing this and at least it’s something to keep things rolling.
Not sure if that’s different to Laxido. I was given lactulose in December when given the morphine as it makes you constipated. Last month out of hours gave me the laxido, she happened to be a gynaecologist as well, so fully understood, initially two packs twice a day, own gp changed it to one twice a day.
If you’re happy to post about your consultation I’d be very interested in what they say.
There’s a good chance the endo is in the bowel rather than just on it.
