But I’m just curious what it’s everyone main pain? Especially when on the pill? Just because at the minute I wake up with excruciating back pain mainly all right sided and it feels as if my organs are attached to something and it feels like pulling stabbing maybe in my bowel.

The pain is so bad! 😣 if it was something else like bowel cancer would it be seen In a laparoscopy?

In my ultrasound it was said right ovary was sitting real low so was difficult to see or get measurements due to gas but I didn’t feel gassy … I don’t Know I’m just fed up 😖

Hey! I know how you are feeling.. I’m so fed up too! Sick of this constant pain! I’ve got my first gynae appointment on the 6th this is my second time being referred to them, they were rubbish the first time around and my problems have only got worse! One of my main pains is in my right side of my pelvis hip and leg, like a stabbing sciatic and gnawing pain, it’s excruciating! And my bowel is never happy! Make sure you ask these questions when you have your appointment, no questions are stupid questions! We deserve answers for our pains. Hope it all goes well hun xxx

I think what you are getting is common with endometriosis. I've often been woken up with pain like that. My pain has always been all on the right side and a feeling like everything is stuck together. I've had confirmed endometriosis for years. Hope that you can soon get help. Good luck xx

Thank you for replying! I’m just sick of it I’m so exhausted. Really hope I get the answers I need 😖

Think I’m going to have to push for laparoscopy at my appointment. I’ve always had heavy periods as a teenager and was always put on the pill but now at 31 as I’m getting older the pain is awful to the point I feel miserable and unmotivated. Xx

I found things just gradually got worse over the years. Yes I think you should push for a laparoscopy. It is very hard to keep fighting when you're worn down like that. xx

I have severe endo and most days the pain is in my lower abdomen but frequently seems to radiate to my back too. Although laparoscopies are the only definitive way to check for endo (and it hardly ever shows up on an ultrasound,) they completely missed mine first time round. (NHS on top form, as always.) Apparently, my endo was so bad and had grown so much that it completely covered certain areas which made it appear normal. It took 2 more ambulance rides to A & E, 2 specialists and a further laparoscopy to finally get a diagnosis. I wouldn't rule anything out but sounds like endo to me - it is unsettlingly common, 1 in 10 women have it. Might not be the best setting to be in at the moment, but if you're in excruciating pain a trip to A & E might be in order. It was the only things that got people to take notice after 15 years of pain.
