Hello,

I was diagnosed with stage 2 Endometriosis in June last year which they were able to remove. Whilst my symptoms pretty much disappeared and I felt better towards the end of last year, my symptoms have gradually started appearing again and I feel just as bad before my lap. I recently had a scan which showed a 3cm cyst which contained blood.

Has anybody had endo come back so quickly? Is this quite common?

I have also read taking serrapeptase tablets helps, can anybody tell me whether they have had any positive results taking this? I am very skeptical!

Thanks

Hey sorry to hear your symptoms are back. I’ve had 3 operations and the first 2, I didn’t have very long relief at all - talking weeks, so I would say it could be back or there is more there then first thought/investigated.

I’d keep a log of your symptoms and maybe even see if you can get a doctors phone appointment to discuss what they think the next steps are x

Hi,I am in similar position as you. I had my first lap in Aug2019, I was given the all all clear in Jan after having a Mri to check if it was successful. I have not had any pain till last week. I had a period that last 3 weeks and was worried I will not have a enough pads to keep me going during locked down. But finally it stopped but then I had a bladder infection. Now I am in constant pain I feel like the endo has come back in the same places. Today the pain started getting worse by the minute every time it was coming it would make me very light headed. I spoke to the gp and he said to wait till next month for a urgent scan. I am disappointed that hospitals are have just stopped all treatment for everyone else, I know this virus is a severe thing but there is people out there suffering with health condition, it would be great if they had at least had one department open in every hospital. In the mean time I am going to see how far I can cope with the pain.

Hello,

I’m so sorry to hear you are having symptoms again, how awful for you. I’m still waiting for my follow up appointment after my op with my gynae there was a massive back log and I couldn’t get an appointment till March (I was meant to go back in August!!) which was unfortunately cancelled. It was only by speaking to my GP that I had a scan! I totally agree with you, they shouldn’t be leaving to do urgent scans for a month! It’s so hard to cope with the pain. I really hope you can get things sorted soon. Take care x
