Picolax sachet

Hi guys I've taken picolax sachet but my operation got cancelled last min...will it just wear off after few hours or shall I ring up my gp?

Hi, firstly I’m sorry that your operation got cancelled, you must be very disappointed. By now the picolax will probably have taken effect and the bowel will have emptied. You shouldn’t need to ring the GP unless you have any side effect symptoms. Hope your procedure can be done soon. Best wishes X
