So after my surgery I was getting abdominal pain for about half an hour after peeing. Had endo removed from bladder/fold in dec so figured was just repairing. Pain stopped about a month and a half ago.
It's now back again and it makes me dread going to pee! Anyone else get this or know what it is?!

I also get pain after peeing, especially if my bladder has been full. I’ve spoken to my consultant about it and my pelvic physio and they all seem to think it’s where the scar tissue is from my surgery on my bladder in 2014.
I can manage it throughout the day by making myself go to toilet before I need to desperately go but always get it in the morning when I wake up.
I’ve kinda just used to it and just know I may need to chill for 30 mins in order to let the pain settle. I also feel that pelvic physio has settled it a bit but that could be just a coincidence.
Hi I had this, my surgery was aug 2019, the pain started in oct when i had my follow up he did a urine test and said I had a silent UT infection he gave a course of antibiotics called cefalexin within 5 days all the pains had vanished. Since Oct 2019 I have been endo free and pain free. No more pain after emptying my bladder or bowel. x
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I went to my specialist for my follow up and he gave me them. I saw him again in january for my next follow up and asked him if I was able to get the same antibiotics from gp to just have in hand incase if I need it, he said the gp would not have the same strength as the one his given me but it will be a similar one but not the same name. So if you can try and see your specialist.
I do suffer from lower back pain but I have started with physio sessions at home now for 3-4mins which is only what my body can tolerate.
I have also seen a big change after not consuming cheese and mayo. Endo is inflammatory disease and so these two play a big part in the flare up pain I used to get prior to surgery.
That's interesting about food. I used to be vegan but saw no real difference when changing. We are just back from Asia though and aim to eat that way for a while because our figures favour it and you have to do something when you can't even go for a walk to keep fit 🤣
Ahh OK! I'll email my endo nurse. I've technically been discharged from them but said they're happy to see me again if I need to. I did mention it after the surgery but it's just odd how it's gone and come back.
