I get severe bloating with Endo. Some foods make it worse like oats and garlic. It gets really uncomfortable. I’ve started having green smoothies. This helps if i don’t include oats or cucumber but today I am very bloated and nauseous and I’ve only had water! Anyone else bloat after drinking water and has anyone found anything that helps? I drink it at room temperature or slightly warmer. I have to drink lots as I have to watch my kidneys thanks to the Endo. Thx

I get really bad bloating with certain foods, which, as you can corroborate, is extremely uncomfortable on the tender endo-ravaged abdomen. I had a good search online and found people talking about the low-fodmap diet. Basically, there's a big ol'list of foods that can cause bloating due to undigested sugars being eaten by the bacteria in your gut, releasing gas. Garlic is definitely one of the main offenders!
I tried the diet myself and if I'm good at sticking to it, I get next to no bloating at all. Would definitely recommend looking into it. There's lots of online resources to tell you which foods to avoid and how best to adapt this diet to your own body.
Not sure if the water is just getting your body to respond to what's already in your system by moving digestion on? Hope you find some answers soon!
