Help me!! I know there must be someone else going through the same thing.

So.... i always get this dull ache which gradually gets worst around ovulation. The pain is located by my bikini line and tends to go others places too. I also get shoulder tip pain and severe nausea!

To make things worst, I get sciatic that goes down my leg twinges in my vaginal and my bowels are all over the place and this month my back is just in pain.

Ive had scans and they have all come back clear. This pain starts about a week after my periods , gets worst after ovulations , dies down a little before my period then bang 2 days before my period i get period pains.

Wheb I told my Gp about this he said, if I had Endo i wouldnt be walking right now 😡. I have a high pain thresholds.

Am I alone in this ???

Hi,

I’ve have the same exact symptoms as you!

I’ve always had heavy periods to the point I would bleed through my jeans and also have really bad period pains.

I’ve had a dull ache in my lower left pelvic area for the last 5 weeks. It’s started when I was at the gym and I felt a pain after getting home that evening, I had a serve pain in my left pelvic area so got a hot water bottle and took paracetamol.

The pain has been there ever since and seems to get worse around ovulation and my period but I also feel it when my period has finished. I’ve also had twinging in my vagina area (I have had this before every now and then for years) and really back back ache plus my bowels are also all over the place.

I’ve been to my GP who referred me to get a transvaginal ultrasound scan which showed I had a cyst on my right ovary my gynecologists told me he thought it was endometriosis and advised me to go onto the pill to try and help with pain management. The pain isn’t serve to the point I’m doubled over but it’s constant dull ache.

I’ve had urine samples and blood test plus an transvaginal ultrasound scan which have all come back fine. I’ve given stool samples to my GP a few days ago and waiting for test results and they also taking a blood next week to test for celiac disease (gluten intolerant).

Reading other stories about endometriosis people suffer differently come have mild symptoms and some have serve.

I would keep pressing your GP for other tests or scans. I changed my GP as the last one wasn’t taking any notice and didn’t offer me an appointment for 3 weeks. My new GP have been really good and are trying everything to get to the bottom of it.

Please keep me updated with how your getting on 💕

Havana17 thank you so much for your reply. I really didnt think I'll get a reply. I am so sorry to hear that your goijg through the same thing.

Sometimes i guess i get super frustrated because the pain is just constantly there. I try to ignore it but i can and when it gets worst I have to stop what im doing an breath through the sharp pains.

To be honest, I think ny Gp is a little clueless and he does take me seriously. I refuse to go on the pill as i have researched it and k ow it will cause problems in the future. The pill will obly mask the problem not deal with it.

Personal questions : does the pain effect your relationship/personal day to day life?

I will keep you updated. Stay strong 💞

Faithinhealth no thank you for replying makes me feel a little bit better being able to talk to someone who understands and listens 🙂

I’ve had sharp shooting pains all day (My ovulation day was Friday) and currently in bed with a hot water bottle and I’ve taken painkillers. I completely understand, I’m beyond frustrated now as I’m being told it could be so many things ☹️!

I’m just pushing and pushing my GP to try and get to the bottom of the constant dull ache. I was on the pill from the age of 15-21 than came off it, the more I found out about the pill I really don’t want to go back onto either ( I’m 31 now ).

It’s really hard everyday and has been for the last 5 weeks, if I’m honest I’ve been struggling and it’s causing me a lot of anxiety. I’m finding it hard to get up and go to work and it’s making me want to stay in all the time as I can’t stop thinking about it, my boyfriend has been amazing and really supportive. What about you? (Happy for you to private message me with your reply)

I have a smear test next week and also a blood test for celiac 😔 feel like I’m living at my GP at the moment.

Personal question - how old are you? ( if you don’t mind me asking)

Hope you’re not in too much pain 💕
