Belly button piercing laporscopy

Hello everyone,

How long after a laparoscopy can I put my belly button piercing back in? Is there a time frame or is it more of a case of 'wait until its healed?'

I'm not sure, probably after it's healed. I don't have a belly button piercing

Did you have an incision in your belly button? if so that can take up to three weeks to completely heal - well mine did, but was still weepy for about a week after too. So probably after that as you don't want to introduce infection / reaction.

If you didn't have an incision in your belly button; probably as soon as any bloating goes down and it feels comfortable.

You should have an appointment two weeks after your lap with either your GP or specialist to discuss healing, check incisions, you could ask then. If you've not got one perhaps book one in.

I put mine back in after 2 weeks, probably could have done it after a week but just wanted to err on the side of caution as I had a little scab.
