Post Laproscopy.

Did anyone else find that their First period after a laparoscopy was Hell? I’m pretty sure I’ve Read that the first 2-3 will be quite painful.

Hello yes it's pretty normal after a lap for the first couple to be painful and not feel a benefit from the surgery. It's because you're still healing internally from the surgery which is why it normally takes a few before being able to tell how much the surgery may have helped.

It’s Not fun, I don’t know how Some of these Women do it. I 100% sit at the very low End of the scale and it’s unbearable. I can’t Imagine it being any worse than this. Wouldn’t wish this on Anyone😣

Yes, my first period was bad after laparoscopy - almost worse than normal - and I wondered why I had spent £5k on it!! But second and third eased up - and I saw a dramatic improvement - far less pain and bleeding. It gets better - hang in there! x

Hi there!yeah I was in such a horrible pain a week before and the period week I thought endo paon came back bit my dctr said it might be becoz periods r on the way and she was right.

Mine was horrible and affected my healing process so my doctor put me back on visanne so I'm not having a period for atleast 6 mths. Currently at month 4
