Urine urgency during sleeping

I'm 24 year old girl , virgin girl and endometriosis patients. 2018 year I had laparoscopic surgery for chocolate cyst 9cm removed. Then started mini pill for 6 months. But mini not suitable for me ( period came for me at that time). Now i taken combination pill like ContainsDesogestrel (0.15 mg) + Ethinyl Estradiol (0.02 mg). my problem started from April to September urine urgency during sleeping night and evening also monthly 5 or 6 times or more.

1, first urine urgency during sleeping night and evening. 2, second pain started around vaginal and urine passing area. 3, Third difficult to pass urine at that time. Urine didn't flow normal. I'm trying to push. 4, fourth started lower abdominal pain for 1 hour then mild pain full night. So i wake up full night.

October to still urine urgency only not pain. But brown discharge from 31 Dec and completed 10 tablet combination pill. Today white discharge seems to be blood spot like white discharge with blood. Any one experience this type of pain and urine urgency. Please share with me your experience.

This is any starting problem of bladder? Or side effects of tablet? Or anything else

Thank you for your reply and share your experiences.

Hi there, wow I could have written this myself. Urinary issues are hell. First of all, I would strongly suggest getting referred to a urologist. When I was waiting for my last surgery for endo I had a urology referral as I was absolutely crippled with bladder issues. Severe pain when full, crying out when it emptied, up 8 times a night going. Always had blood in urine. Always had the symptoms of a Uti without actually having one. I had a preliminary diagnosis of interstitial cystitis after multiple scans suggested this may be an issue. IC is hard to diagnose and a lot of doctors call it the evil twin of endo. I ended up having a cystoscpy and a procedure called a bladder distension where they basically pump your bladder full to the point of no return and see how your vitals react when doing this. It's also meant to reset the bladder and help with urgency and frequency. It doesn't work for everyone. It helped me quite a bit. They were also able to see a lot of irritation which confirmed the IC diagnosis. It helped me go from 8 a night to 3 or 4. I was also started on meds to help with frequency.

Then I had my excision surgery with a bsge specialist. He had explained to me that actually having endo in the bladder is quite rare. However, women with complex endo can have it in the uterovesical fold. Which is near the bladder. About a month after my surgery, and after removal from the uterovesical fold, I had no bladder symptoms. It's stayed that way nearly a year. So for me it was a combination of IC and endo near the bladder. I hope this helps. It's really the worst thing to manage. Definitely look at a urology referral as a start. Take care

Thank you. My gynecologist doctor didn't refer urologist because ultrasound scan normal.

I have previously written about this too. I had first laparoscopy in October and endometriosis was excised and some ablated. Since then have struggled with my bladder, especially at night. Endo pain is much worse at night for me as well. And need to urgently go to the toilet around 8 times a night. In fact, in the early hours of this morning I got up and found I had actually wet myself. I am going to speak to doctor about this. Hope you get answers or help. X

That's right go to doctor. Find a solution. The problem is solve post your experience with your pleasure.

Hi ladies. I wrote a big post up there but I forgot to mention this. My bladder issues didn't start until my first endo surgery. I was convinced he had nicked something. I always had frequency issues but never any other pain or spasms etc. The urologist I saw told me sometimes gyane surgeries can trigger the bladder.

Ultrasound won't show much as far as I know. The one I had with the urologist didn't show anything at all. I'd definitely ask for a referal. Good luck to you both.

What is the name of this disease?. My genealogist suggest urine culture and routine for my symptoms. But i sure i didn't have uti. My symptoms are mentioned in my first question. Urologist gave you any blood or urine test?

in reply to Nikilll

Interstitial cystitis. It is not visible on any urine or bloods. Bladder issues rarely are. You can definitively diagnose it through having a camera procedure called a cystoscpy. They can see if the area is inflamed. You can get a preliminary diagnosis through symptoms and exclusionary processes. It feels like a uti but it is not one. All the symptoms you describe, I had them. But mine was relieved mostly through surgery with an endo expert as I had endo in an area between the uterus and the bladder. A lot of women, as they age and have children, can have bladder issues that are just unfortunately a part of life. But you are so young and don't have children so I definitely would be pushing for more investigations. Urine, bloods etc even ultrasound don't tell a lot about the bladder. You need to be looking for a urologist to do a cystoscpy. Google Interstitial cystitis and see if that sounds familiar. Good luck

I saw cystoscopy procedures in Google. I think horrible procedure. I'm not willing to do this. But thanks for your advice.

in reply to Nikilll

You can be asleep for it. It's not painful for a lot of people even when awake. It can look awful online for sure. Most things look terrifying when you Google. But that's entirely your choice. It's probably the best if not only want to get definite answers. But completely respect if you don't feel you can do it. Good luck. Maybe others will have other suggestions. Take care

I discuss about cystoscopy to my gynecologist. But my doctor told me, now you are single but told me too many problems. Thanks a lot.

in reply to Nikilll

You could always ask about medications such as solifenican. These help with urgency and frequency. Really wish you all the best

They found endometriosis on my bladder and i had the same issue. I had surgery in October 2019 and i think its coming back already! Do your pain increase when you have a full bladder?

I'm didn't fullfill the bladder. Because the bladder if full lower abdominal pain for 1 hour after urine passed.
