Hi ladies , happy new year! Hope you are all well.
This is maybe not endometriosis but also maybe . I have a lump in my colon area , found it due to having to use a suppository as I have chronic constipation caused by painkillers, anyway I'm getting worried, does it hurt, what should I expect etc a friend of mine dad had one the other day and was in lots of pain and felt awful afterwards. I was led to believe that it doesn cause an issues after.. please help 🤣🤣 cheers 🥰

Hi there, obviously everyone’s experience of colonoscopy could be different but I’ve had it twice and it was just a bit uncomfortable, a bit like mild period cramps at times but totally manageable. I was fine afterwards.
If you are anxious about it you can normally have some sedation but I didn’t bother having it.
I’d been suffering with symptoms of Adenomyosis for years and I’m 4 weeks post hysterectomy and BSO, newly diagnosed with Endometriosis so the discomfort of colonoscopy was nothing compared to the pain I was experiencing with all that.
Thanks for the reply sweetie, I'm not planning on the sedation , I dont have time for that lol I'm hoping that the lump is due to the endometriosis and nothing else . Hope you are doing ok now . Jo xx
