I am such a nervous wreck, I have my colonoscopy tomorrow and I'm freaking out. Having constant nightmares I can't get it off my mind in so nervous 😩 never had one before. I'm having a sedation too which puts me a little at ease but I'm so nervous of it hurting 😢 I could even feel how much it hurt in my nightmares, that's how horrible I'm feeling and how nervous I'm getting. Any advice and stories?

I also have my first appointment with Mr Edi Osagie on Thursday in Manchester. Finally getting there Lindle  x

try not to worry about it. I have had three over the space of 3 months, the anticipation is much much worse than the procedure itself. The best advice i can give is try to relax as much as you can during the procedure as this will reduce any pain. hope this helps and it goes well!

I have seen Dr Edi-Osagie and he is brilliant, he did my first lap just over 3 weeks ago, I have a follow up appointment with him tomorrow actually.  You are in very good hands.

I had a colonoscopy a few years ago as well, I was in tears the night before and the morning of as I was so scared but it really wasn't as bad as I was expecting.  I agree with jess8812 the anticipation is must worse and just try and relax and don't worry about it.  Good luck xx

You'll be fine! You've been through much harder things and I bet it's not even near as bad as an easy period! A friend of mine had one and was worried like you but she told me it was worry for nothing. Just another step to getting the diagnosis you should have got some time ago. Good luck and take care, you're in good hands xx
