New symptoms haven’t stopped burning pain up to rib cage

Yup this is how my endo felt before surgery! Felt like my entire stomach from my ribs to my hips was burning. It's like a burning/gnawing sensation??

What stage are you I haven’t had a lap did anti acids work I’m fed up of it all it’s making me depressed and my whole life has changed from it

I have stage 2 endo.

Anti acids didn't work for me - I just used painkillers/anti-inflammatories and heat to help the discomfort. Pretty much always have a hot water bottle with me just in case! I find mint teas quite calming but that might be a placebo!

It's definitely depressing to feel unwell constantly so I feel you. Have you been referred for a laparoscopy at all? My symptoms improved quite a bit after mine (though they were by no means eradicated).

I've recently started Zoladex and its completely changed my life so far. Had no pain for a month when I'm usually constantly feeling pain or at the very least, discomfort. I'm very aware that this won't fix it but it's nice to feel some sort of normality for a while.

I'm so sorry you're having a hard time right now. It's such a difficult illness to manage and it's hard knowing there is no definitive cure but hang in there. Without the bad times we would never truly appreciate the good!

No I’m just booked with a gynaecologist but I know it’s just general gyn but I want them to refer me if they can’t I will go private I can’t put up with this it’s affecting my relationships in all aspects I’m suppose to be getting married this year but I can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel I can’t even move properly I’ve changed my diet and everything and it’s getting worse not better I’ve lost weight I’m at end of my tether I’m stressed so that flares it up but all the other stuff I do and I’m trying to get regular sex to help my pelvis aswell I read that those muscles need to be used but it’s hard

I’m still trying to have confirmed diagnosis but I have this burning up to my ribs and a feeling that something is wedged between my ribs and hip. Almost like a belt is done up too tight but only on right side.

I have this to I’ve only had 6 month of symptoms had a baby in that time but after misscarrige it’s got worse it’s ruining my life I’m not the bubbly interactive person I was cause I can’t do things painful sex hurts bending and can’t see gyn till next month and they won’t do anything was planning a baby but sex painful I’m getting depressed
