Finding the right painkillers help, talk to your gp about the options available to you. Also if painkillers aren't your thing you can try a tens machine it only work whilst you wear it but it works by sending out little electrical bursts block the pain signals. It's a weird sensation and you have to figure out where best to put the pads for you, but you can pick them up for about £20 on amazon/boots etc.
Re bloating I don't have any advice to make it better but if you find clothing uncomfortable at the time I recommend maternity leggings with a dress. The leggings sit high so no on the bloating and the dress depending on the style can help conceal the bloating. I tend to do loose shirt dresses and forgo the belt.
Just be sure that you have the diagnostic lap by a gynaecologist with a special interest - so expertise in diagnosing and treating endo (which means additional training). That is a requirement of the NICE guideline. It's so important as it can be so easily missed. And that if you do have it they only treat early stage endo. Anything more would require referral on to a specialist centre. x
Hi, hopefully this may help as I’m recently diagnosed and used to look pregnant with all of the bloating 😩. I used codeine for the pain and hot water bottles. I was advised turmeric in foods helped.
