IVF transfer after lap and excruciating period

Hi everyone,

I’m 36 and have been struggling TTC #1 for 3 years. 3 unsuccessful IVF cycles/transfers later, I requested a lap. Had surgery 2 weeks ago and they found and excised stage 2 endo. All superficial but it was extensive plus one blocked tube

AF arrived yesterday and I’ve been in agony like never before. My endo and fertility consultants have said that I can transfer my 2 frosties on my next cycle but I’m just wondering:-

a) is this amount of period pain post lap usual? my periods have always been painful but not this bad, worried the surgery has made it loads worse!

b) the pain must be due to the excision and increased inflammation from surgery - surely I won’t be ready to transfer on my next cycle? I’m concerned that my other embryos haven’t stuck due to inflammation so don’t want to risk transferring if things aren’t optimum.

So desperate for the next IVF transfer to work 🙏
