Bleeding prior to ovulation

Hi all

I posted about this a little while ago and since have seen my consultant.

Mid cycle bleeding - pretty much like a period. I need to use sanitary products to manage it. Often small clots and bright red bleeding.

It happens every month without fail for a week prior to ovulation and a couple days after.

I saw my consultant who said that this is not anything to be worried about and has recommended going back to my GP to get tranexamic acid

I asked if it could be something else and my consultant said he was sure it was nothing sinister as I'm young (32). This has a massive impact on my person life.

Does anyone have a similar experience? And get any answers/solutions?
