As well as having endometriosis I have just found out that I am not ovulating. I just wondered if anyone has been through the same thing and what the process is to ever concieve? Really worried that I won't be able to, everything the consultant said is now a jumbled mess in my head!!

I think it depends on why you're not ovulating. If it's just a case that you're not producing enough of the hormone responsible for ovulation then maybe you will be able to take hormone injections to help you. Ivf may also be an option. It's worth speaking to a fertility expert.

Good luck xx

Sorry to hear your feeling confused. Two of my friends with endo were told they were not ovulating. Both ended up pregnant and were told this maybe they just ovulate a different times or later than day 13. X might be worse getting a second opinion x

Would be a good idea for you to chart your bbt to check if and when you ovulate each month. Ovulation sticks are not hundred per cent reliable. A good website to check out is is fertility friend.com where you can chart your temps.

Hi Bexed, don't panic I had exactly the same issue. I wasn't ovulating for a while and became insulin resistant and the doc suspected PCOS. However after reading PCOS self help websites and books I started implementing a new diet and plenty of exercise, since then I have managed to reverse the insulin resistance and I started ovulating this month, turns out I don't have full blown PCOS it was just a hormonal shift caused by my endo that was really active at the time.

If diet and exercise doesn't improve things and you are TTC don't worry speak to your doctor about drug therapy options, there are drugs out there that force ovulation or ovulation is a side effect (such as metformin used for type-2 diabeties) but make sure you get the right option for you. Your consultant needs to tell you what the possible causes could be so you can start helping yourself at home.

I hope this makes sense and helps at least a little, keep your chin up and try not to worry too much (I know easier said than done) good luck and big hugs xxx
