Hi!

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in July having undergone a Laproscopy, but since my surgery my pain has increased! I had the mirena inserted, my gynae said this would help with pelvic pain, but the pain is almost ten times worse than before my surgery! I have been to my doctors and the mirena has been checked and shouldn't be causing this pain. Can Endo come back that quickly? I was wondering if the surgery almost kick started another endo growth? Just hoping anyone can help me out, before I go mad!!!

thanks

Hello

Youbare probably still healing from the surgery if it was only in July. As it usually takes a few months to fully heal inside. So the extra pain could be this. It also might be the mirena as it can take upto 6 months to settle down after its been put in.

My pain got worse, went away then came back worse than ever. I’m in the same boat.

Can I ask what you had done during surgery? What areas it was found? Did they burn it or excise it? X

They burnt it from behind my uterus and I had fibroids joining my uterus, Fallopian tube and hip which was separated
