Low back and pelvic pain

Hi all, so I am having a Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for endometriosis on Wednesday. I have really bad low back pain and dull pain in my pelvis which I’m putting down to the Endo! This morning the pain feels like it’s in the top of my hips (the feeling is almost like when u have the flu, when you ache)! Has anyone else experienced this type of pain please?

Hi, I also experience this kind of pain, when I have a flare up my back hurts at the lower part of my spine, my right side of my pelvis and also my hips leading down my things gets very painful. I’m just putting this down to possible endo as I’m not really to sure what else it could be, the doctors haven’t been much use about it but hopefully after my laparoscopy I can get some real answers instead of just maybes. I use a heating pad where possible but also I lie on the floor with my knees up and stay there for a little while it helps relieve some of my back and hip pain. Also try and lightly circle your hip joints when you can as sometimes mine seize up and that pain is horrible

Hope your op goes well xx

Thank you for your reply. I have had my back pain for a good 3 weeks and it hurts more when it goes into spasm and I just can’t get comfortable. I’m sorry you haven’t had much help/answers, it is so frustrating huh! I have been crying out for help for the last 8 years as we haven’t been able to conceive and IVF failed and I’ve had internal scans and nobody has picked it up!! Hey ho I can’t turn back the clock. I hope you get some answers soon. When is your laparoscopy? X

I’m now 34 I was diagnosed with pcos at 15 tilted womb same age irritable bowl age 16 sciatica 18 Endo at 21 I went from a size 8 all the way up to a 30 horrendous as I was a professional dancer and ate an extreme strict healthy diet soul crushing😔

I had my son after losing 4 stone at age 23

Then my daughter 10 years later after losing 13 stone after been advised to have a bypass before my weight killed me

Strange cause my drs and specialists were so adamant I wasn’t physically ever able to be able to have children so I should have a hysterectomy at 17

My babies are miracles and yes it took an awful long time to get caught and I have been very lucky

Don’t think about babies I know it’s hard but try to enjoy your life and push for proper help and meds and stick to a good healthy diet and take pregnacare tablets for getting pregnant it will happen but when it’s ment to and when you aren’t putting so much pressure through your mind onto ur body x x x
