Pain months after endometriosis lap

Hey I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the same symptoms a few months after their laparoscopy?

I have the same symptoms as I had before the removal of an endometrial cyst and a small about of endo behind my womb.

It’s only been 4 months and I’m worried its returning. My symptoms include pain during sex, sharp pains or stitch kind of feelings across my lower stomach, lots of pressure in my lower stomach.

If anyone does relate or know if it’s maybe just the hearing still please let me know x

Hi, I had a laparoscopy 3 years ago and had several cysts removed. And some endometriosis removed. They advised I had the marina coil to stop my periods. I did this but since then have been trying for a baby. So mine have come back because I’ve had periods again. Did they advise anything after? X

I had a bad time with contraception before so they didn’t want to recommend that again, they said I should be completely fine and wasn’t worried about it ever returning

I was told that if you’re having periods then there is a change of it returning - maybe worth going back to your consultant

Hey lovely! I’m in the same position, I had my lap in March but unfortunately pain has continued and I can’t take hormones as I react badly to them! The doctors are at a loss of what to do now so I’ve given up pestering them and just trying to manage with pain relief. Hope things improve for you soon x

Aw no!! Yeah I guess maybe I should go back and see what they say but looks like it’s just learning to manage it which is so horrible for us all! X

I am in the exact same position as you are currently. I am seeing my GP tomorrow to discuss it all. I would book a doc appointment and see what they say. Good luck x
