Zoladex/Buserelin before IVF

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on zoladex and going to be starting my first round of IVF shortly. I've been prescribed Buserelin for my IVF treatment but I'm a bit confused as it seems to do the same thing as the zoladex. Has anyone else had zoladex followed by Buserelin? They seem to both surpress the cycle so not sure why both are needed.

Hey I'm so not familiar with all that IVF treatment options and how it fully goes...I've been given that option too by my Gynae since both my fallopian tubes are blocked...I'm only 22yrs and it's really messing up wth my emotions as I have my fears and still shocked as to how I ended up here ...

This was all caused by endometriosis and now I have to start saving for IVF because it's very expensive..I'm in South Africa
