Hystercoscopy and coil fitted

Hi there,

Sorry for long post

On Weds I had a hystercoscopy and coil fitted at the same time as I have the implant which hasn’t been working at all but have had 2 coils previously one fitted in clinic, one under GA ~ I also along with my Gyne consultant decided to have this under GA, I have been spot bleeding but nothing heavy and in no pain 😀.

I have to go back and see the consultant in 3 months and he said if I’m still in pain then he’ll do a lap, but if I’m not I guess I get discharged?

So my question if the coil works and I can finally be pain free when it needs changing in 5 years I’ll be in my late 30s would they then consider a hysterectomy if I didn’t want children?

Many thanks
