Is this right?

After my lap on Tuesday instead of waiting for me to come round the doctor went and spoke to my mum and partner and was very rushed they said you could tell she just wanted to go home. I never told the doctor she could speak to my family before me. She basically told them there was no way I could have a child and then went. Is this right?

I was told to get ready for my op at 1 but the woman in front of me was down in surgery a lot longer then they planned. I did not end up going down till 4 o’clock. We all think that they ran out of time and my endo was just to much work for them. I’m angry today and still so confused 😢

My first surgeon told me my results as I was coming to so you can imagine I didn’t get a word of what they said. Then he just ran off home. My step mum came to collect me (she is a doctor but not a surgeon) and was so appalled and complained so much the staff gave her his number so he could tell her the results as I was still to high to understand. I would submit a complaint if I were you. Have you been given a follow up appointment? I had to ask for one as it wasn’t given automatically which again is terrible!

I am so sorry to read this. That is just awful. I would push for a follow up appointment and also ask the hospital for a copy of your notes. You could try PALS to see if they can help you.

Even if there was too much work for them to do in that operation they should explain that to you and not your family.

PALS have been a great support to me in the past so I would defo try there first.

Big hugs x
