Hey! I've had the Mirena Coil fitted..I've only had it two weeks but I'm in pain all day everyday..Not sure if it's cause of the lap, endo or the coil..They didn't take my endo which I'm pissed about! But I haven't yet had a period just loseing lots of browny gunk (sorry to be to graffic) but was told me first period would be awful.

Not sure how the coil will help me but at the moment I regret having it put in..When I go back in April I'm going to ask for it out and my endo taken away.

Did u have the lap with the coil fitted at the same time? I had them separately and the pain was unreal with the lap and the coil been fitted. That's normal with the brown gunk i had that for a good month afterwards. Was your endo in a complicated place? Did they say why they couldnt remove it?

The coil has helped me for the first 5 months had the odd pain but nothing to bad even the shooting pains in my bottom went. But its come back with a vengeance 😪 i dont bleed really now unless i have sex/orgasm. But apparently bleeding isnt a symptom everyone gets so im not as worried now. X

Hey

Yeah I had the coil fitted during the lap so didn't feel nothing! He said the endo was covering ovaries and under my womb..So I'm not sure if it's hard to get too..But I am going to ask when I go back cause I know other people have had it removed during a lap! X

Hey I have adenomyosis and I got the coil fitted 3 weeks ago whilst having a lap, I've been in agony pain since so excruciating that I have thrown up and nearly passed out, ive also bled really heavy every day since and at the mo I'm nearly over dosing on tablets and I'm taking 2 dihydrocodeine, 2 paracetamol and 1000mg ibruphon every 4 hours.. its literally a night mare and I don't know if I can go on much longer :( I'm going to get it checked out tomorrow as maybe this isn't normal, if it is normal I might get it taken out but then that's another option taken away from me to treat my disease :( did you have the same sort of problems when you had the coil fitted?
