Who has had a lap- Do you bleed following it? Can this be confused with period?

Hi all, I’m having my lap in a week and I’m also due my period around the same time- this cycle will be my IVF cycle to put a frozen embryo back in (but I need to have lap to remove endo and a cyst first.) Because I need to record the first day of my period with the IVF clinic, my question is- do you bleed a lot following the lap anyway, or will it be obvious if I start my period the day of, or the day after my lap? I’m worried about getting confused between post op bleeding and period bleeding. My periods are painful but I might be in pain after the lap too and not be able to differentiate! Could anyone who’s had a lap tell me if they bled afterwards? Thanks! X

Hey I had my lap in March- I bled a little after and then had my period wen it was due 2wks after my lap. My bleeding post op wasnt heavy and I def cud differentiate between that and period. But the pain I had wen due my period was horrendous the first 2 cycles so beware!!! Period pain n lap pain is different x
