I have a consultation with a specialist in July, as I’m 18 I have been brushed off quite a lot. Is there anyway to makesure they hear me and do the laparoscopy?

Note everything! If you turn up with extensive notes about what pain you get and when and what you take to deal with it that might help. I did this on the GP’s advice and was shocked about how many painkillers I was taking and how much of the month I was actually in pain for. The consultant had no option other than to look at it all. Hope that helps. Good luck!
Def agree, write down clearly all the symptoms and dates and when they see the pattern of pain they listen, demand the lap. Good luck x
