Good luck, everything will be fine. Trust in the doctors and look forward to hopefully having a diagnosis. It's completely normal to be nervous but think positive and it will be over in no time. Best wishes xxx

Good luck, hope it goes well. I had a really positive experience & for me it was a lot less painful than a bad flare up, I hope this helps. Don’t forget to ask any questions and speak to them about any pain medications you may need after. Stay strong x

It's totally natural to be scared. You'd be weird if you weren't! But it will quickly be just a memory. I had my lap just over 2 weeks ago and already feel like it's ancient history. It's hard but you can trust the experts to take good care of you. And the pain can be managed with medication. Most importantly, remember you're doing this because it's going to make you feel much better in the long term. All the best for a speedy recovery xx

It's really scary but it's so worth it. I really didn't want to have the surgery (again) and sobbed as they put me to sleep but I'm so glad I did it as I have less pain and more answers now. When you wake up you'll be so high you wont care about anything! Just rest up for a week and take lots of painkillers (senna too if you're taking codine - TRUST ME). Best of luck xx
