Help! Constantly bleeding and in constant pain with ovaries!

Hey All,

I thought I'd give this a go and see if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I'm 22yrs old and currently experiencing irregular periods and constant pain in my ovaries and pelvis.

I am currently bleeding for 2-3 weeks at a time each month. The pain is unbearable and is stopping me from being able to work, drive and just live normally. I was diagnosed 3yrs ago with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome but the pain was never investigated. I have just started to see a new doctor who is looking into Endometriosis.

This morning, my dog jumped up on my lap and his paw lent on my right hand side (the side I experience the most pain) it caused a massive sharp pain that went straight into my thigh, I noticed a small lump in that area today too, since he's lent on it I've been in pain all day that has progressively got worse and I've ended up leaving work.

I'm taking Codeine and Ibruprofen but nothing seems to hit the pain.

Has anyone experienced this before? Or know how to manage the pain until I get my results back from the doctors?
