I did before my lap, got a pulling pain when stretching, coughing, sneezing and especially when working out at the gym. My ovary was found to be fused during my lap, since they freed it I no longer get that pain (although sadly still get other pain)

Thanks for your reply. I get this too. Was your Fallopian tubes ok ? My gynea said its upto me if I want the Lap or not. My ultrasound showed nothing x

My ultrasound showed nothing and I had severe endo removed during the lap! I had it removed from my ovarian fossa, I don't actually know about my fallopian tube as I don't want children. The focus of my op was all around my pain x

Thanks. My ultrasound showed nothing either. But I would like the chance of children xx

I used to have the same type pain and it progressed to all the time, not just morning. I had a lap almost 3 weeks ago and it was found my Fallopian tubes were covered in adhesions, stuck to my abdominal wall and intestines. My ovaries actually, thankfully, we're just fine. Are you scheduled for a lap?

Yes on the waiting list 4-6 month wait. Did you get twinges in your legs too ? I get them all the time. Annoying because no one can say what it is or interested in it. Xx

I had more of an achy restless leg- like feeling that was painful at night.

I've had that b4, at the moment I've got a strong feeling in my back/bowel like I need the toilet but I don't. And pains down legs x

Oh I can feel for you. I had a lot of bowel problems before surgery, urge to go but couldn't a lot! I think the tubes being fused to intestines was the culprit. My bowel issues have resolved greatly post-op. I'm sorry you have to wait so long for your op. I wish you good luck and hope you can find some relief in the meantime.

We're your Fallopian tubes blocked ? When I cough it's so uncomfortable down there :( and my leg pain is so bad xx

I have a lot of pain even after lap on my left side when stretching, sneezing and twisting. It is in the same area I had a chocolate cyst removed, when I had my scan I had some scarring/fusing they said it could be old scarring or new endo growth they weren't sure without going in for a lap. I hope you get it sorted x

Thank you. It seems to be getting worse monthly. I'm running my pill back to back but it's not making much difference. Seems to be getting worse :( xx

I used to have occasional piercing ovary pain while stretching pre-lap. It turned out that I have got frozen pelvis and that my intestine is on top of the ovary so they couldn't get to it. Since the lap I made stretching part of my morning routine (to help with neck pain, which I believe have something to do with endo. And yes, it helps my neck!) and ovary doesn't hurt any more. Not while stretching anyway.

Leg pain - dreadful! When it first appeared it got me very scared. Only from this forum I've found out that it is endo related.

I run my packs of pills too and must say it hasn't improved! Hopefully a lap will. Endo diet has eased some symptoms of mine but mostly bowel related. Fingers crossed for you- it isn't any fun at all!! X

I have bowel Endo, my ovary is attached to my rectum, following my lap to deroof 2 large endometriomas that encased my ovary and tube one each side i felt fine after but now the pain is back have u considered cysts? i am convinced the pain u describe, for me anyway, is a new cyst xx

in reply to xnanookx

I think mine is on my bowel to now, I've had a ultrasound scan before which showed nothing. But I didn't have a flair up when I had the scan. They said it all looks normal. I get ovary pain when I cough or stretch, back pain/ache, leg pain, sharp shooting pains and now rectum ache/pain feeling I always need to poo and their softer and thinner when I have the flair ups. Just run pill back to back and pain is really bad now x

i have so many problems with my bowel, all the symptoms could have been written by me about me it's uncanny. i know i have a cyst (u can see it in a pic i posted of my bloating) plus i had so many this last year instinct tells me this one is a whopper. i've developed gerd, acid reflux and a potential stomach ulcer so i'm not taking any pain relief at all, my ribs feel like somebody is trying to escape from them most of the time, have u had an mri? i had an internal exam (vaginal) too and they identified nodules on my bowel, my pod is obliterated, and he flicked my ovary (the one thats attached i was not amused...) i had a bilateral cyst deroofing lap and nothing else no treatment at all coz i'd expressed my desire to have children, i'm seeing an endo specialist tomorrow (probs wont be him) this will be the first time i've spoken to anyone but the general gynea surgeon who did my op who said he found nothing and left my pod unexamined...de ja vue is killin me lol start of another long road, this afternoon has been killer got so much to prepare for tomorrow and i'm starting to flair the pressure in my pelvis is so intense i'm walking with my knees bent and a pain in my shoulder got me hunching .... i dunno, it's always the way xx

I always say my life is only half lived, and ppl say oh its not that bad etc etc and I just smile and change the subjectcoz I don't want to talk about bathroom habits, I've known this person 20 yrs and I feel shame I can't talk about my bowels...its so refreshing to talk poop lol the worst thing about my whole story, it took a miscarriage to find my condition I had almost no symptoms until I was 30 then in one day my whole life changed, I have the bowel movements of a newborn with the most agonising pain throughout before during and after, sex is not happening at all the pain from ovulation sees to that, vertigo every day, just a general sick feeling it all just creates your own personal hell its like a bubble its all smooth there's no way out but its raining so hard inside that bubble you feel like your drowning your swamped and then u find that one person who can tell u ur not crazy coz it happened to them too and its just calm all the panic u feel is washed away. That's what I love about this site all of these girls know ur thought process its a good feeling to know your not alone xx

I had this yes especially over the right side but I had adhesions from bowel to right ovary which have been sorted during my 2nd lap so no longer get this now xxx

in reply to

I'm glad you don't suffer as much now. Did it affect fertility ? I'm so scared x

in reply to

I had a dye test at my last lap and tubes were patent but I don't know how this sort of pain would affect fertility I think it really is on an individual basis as to where you are affected xxx
