Zolodex injections and now feeling pain 7 months into treatment

Hello ladies,

I am on month 7 of the zolodex injections, after success for the past months, this month has taken a turn for the worst, my bowels are blocked and I'm in excruciating pain, like it was before I started this treatment, it's all on the lower right side of my abdomen where previous cysts and endo have grown, has this happened to anybody before? Also, can I develop a cyst whilst on the injections?

Thank you xxx

Hallo. You shouldn’t develop cysts while on Zoladex, I’d be very surprised if that has happened. Could be that you have adhesions (scar tissue) there from previous cysts, which sometimes flare up. Or there might be an infection - do you have any swelling, redness or high temperature? Is the pain constant, or does it come and go in a pattern? If you’re in agony, I would get it checked out. Xx

Thank you for your reply, it is shooting up towards and around my belly button now, I am having hot flushes and I'm super tired. I do have adhesions and adonyosis, but this pain feels deeper if that makes any sense at all.. thank you for your reply, x

Yes, that makes sense. The hot flushes could be your body reacting to the Zoladex but it’s strange you’ve also got fatigue and intense pain. Sending you healing vibes xx
