Post Laparoscopy

I had my first laparoscopy yesterday and was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis my surgeon said they could not remove all of the endo as it was all very deep and the majority surrounding my bowel.

I am due to have a follow up appointment in the next few weeks to discuss further treatment. They want me to change from the combined pill over to the mini pill. Is anyone in the same boat as me and can share their experience post op?
